Welcome!
We would like to thank all of our members who go beyond the Garden Club and sow the seeds of giving by giving back to community in so many ways.
Founded in 1931
We are one of the oldest member clubs in the California Garden Clubs, Inc. (CGCI) family, with more than 200+ men and women dedicated to creating and promoting an interest in:
- horticulture
- floral and landscape design
- conservation and preservation of natural resources and
- civic and environmental responsibility.
We are a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC) and Pacific Region Garden Clubs, Inc.(PRGC) and a Charter Member of California Garden Clubs, Inc. (CGCI)/Palomar District.
We offer:
- member education through speakers, workshops, study groups, tours, and field trips
- the opportunity for community involvement and civic beautification
- public education through flower shows and garden tours;
- scholarships and
- creating lasting friendships while having fun!
Fallbrook is located in the beautiful, rolling hills of north San Diego County, and our Mediterranean climate allows us to grow almost anything.

Club History
• 1931 The Club was organized on March 26, with 14 members.
• Mrs. Mable Richardson was the founder and first president. Dues were 5 cents per meeting.
• December 1931, the club became one of 23 charter members of the California Federation of Garden Clubs (now California Garden Clubs, Inc. (CGCI)).
• There were two flower shows each year (fall and spring).
